PETAL LOVE POTION

This is a love potion I make up for my fiancée and myself.  We usually sip this in a bath together, or cuddled up on the couch watching our favourite movie.

1          bottle of sparkling wine (or non alcoholic)
12         fresh strawberries
1  t       strawberry leaves (fresh or dry)
1  t       sugar
1  t       borage leaves and flowers
            a squeeze of lemon juice

Combine the leaves/flowers, strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Add one small glass of sparkling wine.  Let mixture infuse for 2 hours.  Then skim leaves from your potion (leaving the strawberries).  Add the concentrated liquid into the remaining sparkling wine.  Pour into a glass.  Add an ice cube if you wish.

Drinking this will give you a warm and fuzzy feeling all over!
Oh, fyi:  you can also use starflower oil in place of flowers and leaves.

Enchanted Apple Spell

Pick a half green/half-red apple when the Moon has waned three days. Breath upon its green cheek, rub it with a scarlet cloth, saying:

Fire sweet
And fire red,
warm the heart
And turn the head.

Kiss the red half, put it later in another's hand. Who holds it shall weaken, who eats it shall be yours as long as you can keep them.

Attract the Perfect Lover Spell

Timing: Perform on a Friday during the waxing moon.

Supplies:

• 6 rose petals
• 1 teaspoon of lavender
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
• a rose quartz
• 6-inch square of pink cloth
• green ribbon (floss or yarn will do)
• an inch of red ribbon
• needle and thread
• a penny

Place the petals, rose quartz, lavender, cinnamon, red ribbon, and penny in the center of the cloth square. Gather the edges of the fabric together and hold the pouch close to your heart. Then say:

Venus, Queen of love, divine
Bring the love to me that's mine.
Perfect, he (she) and perfect, me
Together we are meant to be.
Venus, Queen of love, so warm
Bring my love to me, without harm.
Let nothing keep us now apart,
Bring perfect love to fill my heart.

Still holding the pouch against your heart, fill it with loving energy. Secure the pouch with the green ribbon to seal the spell. Carry it on your person and sleep with it under your pillow. When the lover comes to you, bury the pouch under a tree.

Star of Love Spell

Timing: This spell is best done on the first Friday of the New Moon. Repeat this spell each month until true love finds you.

Supplies:

• a sheet of paper
• a pen
• rose petals
• jasmine incense
• a pink or red candle
• optional: a rose quartz, ruby, or garnet

Light the candle and incense, relaxing completely. Think of all the qualities you desire in a lover, such as faithfulness and honesty. Write them down, being specific. Take as much time as you need, making sure every quality you desire is written down in a clear way. You get what you ask for!

When you are finished with the list, go outside, leaving the candle and incense burning in safe containers. Look up to the sky and find a star that attracts you or appeals to you the most. Holding the rose petals and gems in your hands,visualize the starlight beaming down to fill your hands, infusing the petals with power. Say:

Star of love burning bright,
aid me in my spell tonight.
Unite my true love to me,
as I will then it shall be.

Go back inside and sprinkle the rose petals around the base of the candle, and place the gems in front of it. Picture yourself as a bright flame attracting the person who is best for you. Then call softly:

Hear me as I call to you;
Come to me, my love so true!

Bring Love Spell

Supplies:

• 1 red candle
• 1 small fire proof bowl
• 1 teaspoon rose petals (for love)
• 1 teasponn marigold petals (for strength)
• 1 teaspoon vervain (to make it go)
• your name written on a heart shaped piece of paper
• a few drops of alcohol
• optional: 1 drop of your own blood

Directions:

In the small bowl, mix the rose petals, marigold petals, and vervain. Beside the bowl, place the dressed red candle, to bring love to yourself. Hold the piece of paper, with your name on it...imagine it is your heart....happy, safe, balanced, and filled with passion for life. You may put a drop of your own blood onto the piece of paper (but it is not required). Place the paper in the bowl with the herbs. Add a few drops of alcohol and set aflame

Love Me Forever Spell

Supplies:

• Two previously worn "love items"--one yours, one his/hers
• a small stick cut from an oak tree (Cut it down when the moon is waxing.)
• a two-foot strand of freshly cut ivy (also cut when the moon is waxing)

Directions:

You're in a relationship with someone that you really love and you want it to last forever. This spell is a little insurance.

Pick a day that is special to your relationship. At noon, tie the two love items around the stick, using the ivy to wrap everything together. Leave a little ivy at the end, which you will wrap later. As you do this, say:

You're Bound To Me
And I To Thee
We Two Seeds
Are Now One Tree.
Now And Forever,
So It May Be!

Hide the bundle under your bed until midnight. then take it out again and finish wrapping the bundle completely, saying:

I Am Bound To Thee
And You To Me.
Together Divine
We Are One Vine
Now And Forever,
So May It Be!

Keep the bundle under your bed and make love as soon as possible. When you do so, visualize you and your lover as two vines, or trees, growing together. Later, plant the bundle in a patch of ivy. Your love will remain firm.

Love Cake Spell

Supplies:

• Ingredients for a cake
• A pinch of edible dried rose petals
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• Spring water charged by the Full Moon

As mix the cake, add the special ingredients listed above to the cake mix and say:

A drop of moon blood.
A pinch of rose.
Add cinnamon to please his/her nose.

As you take the cake out of the oven after it has baked, repeat the following three times:

With each bite,
we two entwine,
This spicy cake will make him/her mine.

Then serve the man/woman you have baked this for a nice, big slice!Remember: This spell will NOT make someone fall in love with you, but it will encourage them to show their already present love for you.

Find Your True Love Spell

Soak one of your socks in rosewater. Allow it to dry, and then place it under your bed. Each night, send out the thought that you want your true love to come and see you.

After a month has gone by, burn a red candle at sunset, and think of the love you have to offer. Repeat this procedure for seven nights in a row. Soon, your true love will come to you.

Mix any of the following nine "love potions" up, put 'em in a little bottle or whatever you can carry them in, and keep that bottle with you at all times! Don't lose it, and definitely don't drink it!

Love Potion #1

Mix Together: 7 rose petals, 2 tablespoons basil, 2 cups rain water, 2 tablespoons salt, 1 piece rose quartz, 1 teaspoon, tobasco sauce, and 3 crushed cherries. This one is for a fling, with possibilities.

Love Potion #2

Mix Together: 10 dried rose petals, 2 tablespoons vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon powdered sugar, 1 cup melted ice, 1 teaspoon rosemary, 1 piece tumbled rose quartz, and 1 tablespoon honey. This is for a romance.

Love Potion #3

Mix Together: 1 orange slice, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 1 handful cloves, 2 tablespoon garlic, 1 tiger lilly petal, 1 cup muddy water, 1 chip tiger's eye, 1 chip rose quartz, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. This one is for an intense, exotic love.

Love Potion #4

Mix Together: 1 cup water, 3 black cherries, crushed, 3 white rose petals, 3 tablespoons oregano, 3 tablespoons peach juice, and 3 drops honey. This is for a sweet, innocent love.

Love Potion #5

Mix Together: 3 drops blood, 1 cup red wine, 6 blades grass, 2 marbles, 3 pinches dirt, 1 acorn, and 1 dandelion head. This one is for a binding love.

Love Potion #6

Mix Together: 1 pine cone, 1 lock witches' hair (yours will do), 3 small ground weeds, 1 drop dragon's blood poison, 1 pinch Valerian Root, 2 teaspoons buttermilk, 1 cup tap water, 1/8 cup epsom salts, and 1 twist pepper. Have to let someone down easy, especially for someone else?? This is the one for you!

Love Potion #7

Mix Together: 1 Hollyhock (i.e. Rose of Sharon) stem, 1 chip quartz, 1 chip calcite, 1 piece amethyst, a charged hunk of hematite, 1 cup sweetened water, 1 twist pepper, 1 twist ginger, and 1 twist of sage. Mix this with sugar water and love oil. This is for a dominating sweep off your feet. Be careful.

Love Potion #8

Mix Together: 1/4 cup banana paste, juice from 1 cherry, 1 cup ice chips, Juice from 3 grapes, 1/4 cup basil, 1 pinch sage, pieces of a geode, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 honeysuckle bloom, 3 rose petals, a few drops of mineral/rain water, 2 pine needles, and 3 threads of a spiderweb. This is to warm an old iced heart.

Love Potion #9

Mix Together: 1 handful chocolate chips, 1 pinch table sugar, 1 pinch ginger, 1 drop Amber oil, 1 drop vanilla, 1 piece tree bark (preferably witch hazel), 1 teaspoon honey, 1/2 cup rain water, 1 smooth rock, (preferably from a river bed,) 1 drop witches' saliva (can be yours, long as it's charged), 1 pinch sage, and a chip of gold. Bodily fluids enhance this potion. This is for a head-over-feet deal. It's the all-purpose love potion.

LOVE POTION

To be performed on the 9th day of the 9th month.

(But you can try it anytime - who knows?)

� 9 oz. sweet red wine 

� 9 basil leaves 

� 9 red rose petals 

� 9 cloves 

� 9 apple seeds

� 9 drops vanilla extract

� 9 drops strawberry juice

� 9 drops apple juice 

� 1 ginseng root, cut into 9 equal pieces

By the light of 9 pink votive candles, put these nine ingrediants into a cauldron on the ninth hour of the ninth day of the ninth month of the year. 

Stir the potion nine times with a wooden spoon, each time reciting the following:

LET THE ONE WHO DRINKS THIS WINE

SHOWER ME WITH LOVE DIVINE.

SWEET LOVE POTION NUMBER NINE

MAKE HIS/HER LOVE FOREVER MINE.

Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for nine minutes. 

Remove the cauldron from the heat and allow the potion to cool off. 

Blow nine times upon the potion, bless it in the names of nine love-goddesses, (see below) and then strain it through a cheesecloth into a clean container.

Cover and refrigerate it untill you are ready to serve it to the man or woman from whom you desire love and affection. (Do not allow anyone other than your beloved to look at,touch, or drink the love potion.)

The nine goddesses: Inanna, Ishtar, Astarte, Hathor, Nephthys, Aphrodite, Venus, Freya, Arianrhod.
